ALC2017.

p/s: when you are excited with the event and at the same time you're scared that results will be released 2 days later! hahahahaha!

The first chapter of 2017 nampak gayanya bermula dengan baik and full of blessings so far! Alhamdulillah! (:

Last semester, masa nak dekat finals tu, saya ada register for conference. That moment I was like, "Dear self, you are a crazy person! Orang lain busy study for exams and you still got time to look for event like this." Then, I told myself, "Opportunity comes when you are semi-conscious. A chance that will only be taken by those who are curious about the future."

Before nak register untuk conference ni, saya ada la ajak some of my friends and most of them taknak join and bagi macam-macam alasan. Saya ajak bukan sebab nak ada member teman time conference tu... Saya ajak sebab saya nak dorang ambik peluang ni to gain knowledge from different angle. Well, they made their decision and it's their loss, not mine. I shall respect their reasons for not joining this event. (:

Cida seorang je member Sunway yang saya kenal and rapat yang join conference ni. And, luckily masa conference tu, junior Badlishah tegur saya! hahaha! So, hakuna matata jerrr and life will be better! ^^

So, the Asia Leadership Conference (ALC) 2017 was held on 14 January 2017 (Sabtu) from 8am-5.30pm! Nak tau something tak? Event ni berlangsung exactly 2 days before result for December 2016 keluar! Again, double craziness! hahaha!

Everyone can be a leader without any form of authority. It's how you contribute to the community in a way that no one else can. And so, before I lead others, I should know how to be follower. :)

The registration fee was RM100 (Sunway student) and RM200 (Non-sunway). So... The fee was extremely expensive for a student like me. Mahai namateyyyy! ==" Pecahkan my piggy bank!! *nangis tepi penjuru* There goes my moneyyyyy~~~ #cansomeonedonatemoneytomybankaccountpleaseeeee hahahahaha!

And again, walaupun mahal, I always judge something based on cost vs benefits! hahaha! To me, knowledge are so valuable thus it's worth investing my time and money on something like this! Plus, I am not a person who is 24/7 studying. ._.

Frankly speaking, saya suka workshop B and PD sebab speakers best and I gained few new knowledge from different perspectives and made me think outside the box! (:

Yoshiko said "Everyone has a story to tell and you are the author of your own stories. It's not about how great you can share a story, but, it's how your story will inspire other people to be better"

Bila korang join event macam ni, always remind yourself about your solat. Since event ni international, so, break dorang tu terhad untuk quick break sahaja. So, in between that, spare some of your time to pray! Masa event tu, saya keluar untuk solat masa sesi panel discussion. Seek knowledge without compromising your iman! (: #notetoself

During the conference, I made few friends from various age and backgrounds! I might not remember their names, but, I'm surely won't forget their faces. :)

So, as you grow older, you'll see that life has it's own purpose. If knowledge only comes from the books that you're studying, life would be so boring! Look around us, so many new things can be learned and so many new mistakes can be made. That's how I grow to be a better person. :)

There's still more rooms for self-improvement and I am doing all these not to please everyone around me, but, to make myself a better person. Only then I can help to make this world a better place. :)
